About

I'm Elad, a photographer from Israel. I shoot close up and mostly outdoors — water on a leaf, a coin in the rain, a wasp that stayed still for one frame. What I'm really after is light: what it does to glass, to a drop of water, to the sky behind a mast at the end of the day. I take the photographs and edit them myself.

My grandfather is the reason I started. He put a camera in my hands, and he still spends afternoons with me going through what I've shot — why one frame works and the one beside it doesn't. He's the one teaching me to treat this as something to get good at, not just something I like doing.
